At the end of the semester, we were assigned to do a piece where we covered multiple angles of an object. My initial inspiration for this was to choose an incredibly generic object (like a garlic press, which is shown above in the drawing) and make it very dramatic or stylistically bold. I intended to use stark lighting that you might see on a model and shapes around the subject that popped way too much for such a mundane object. I thought this would have been humorous. Unfortunately, we were only given a few days of work time for the piece. I ended up finishing it very quickly and embraced the messiness of my quick workflow to do so. I originally wanted to have a sleek design, but I adapted and gave the piece a new style.
